Scroll to explore the three movements of light.
Constructed Light
This project is an exploration of light as both subject and material. Using colored illumination, crystal glass, and simple paper forms, I work abstractly—allowing light to bend, fracture, soften, and eventually settle into stillness.
Refraction & Fracture
(Energy, Tension, Breakage → how light collides with form)
The work unfolds in three movements, first one;
Refraction & Fracture examines tension and disruption, where light splinters and color breaks apart.
Soft Curves & Colour Flow
(Movement, Release, Immersion → where light becomes liquid)
Second one;
Soft Curves & Colour Flow offers a release - a space for movement and fluid transitions.
Light as Form / Quiet Studies
(Stillness, Structure, Resolution → where light simply is)
The final movement;
Light as Form, slows everything down, reducing the composition to quiet structures where light itself becomes shape.
This project is less about what is seen and more about how light behaves when given space to act on its own. Together, these images reflect a process of control and surrender. While the materials guide the setup, the light ultimately determines the outcome. What emerges is not representation, but sensation-moments where color, form, and emotion briefly align.
